My debut album Uiseag Aiseig is Out Now!

I am delighted that my debut album, Uiseag Aiseig is out now! Released on 29th March, 2025, we celebrated with an intimate concert and launch at my local hall, Talla Bhreacais in Skye. I was joined by friends and fellow musicians, Donald Livingstone on guitar and backing vocals, Keri Skye on double bass, Sarah-Jayne Shankland on fiddle, Lis Phillips on fiddle and accordion, Ester Strachan on fiddle and Mary Strachan on backing vocals. It was such a lovely night, and I couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming and supportive audience. Tapadh leibh!

Uiseag Aiseig, pronounced "ooshak ashik", means skylark of Ashaig. The album is a collection of tunes and songs I have been playing and singing over the past few years. The music takes influence from the natural world, my home village of Ashaig in south Skye and my travels to North Carolina. The album was recorded, mixed and co-produced by Barry Reid of Rose Croft Studio in Muir of Ord and mastered by Chris Waite.

You can purchase Uiseag Aiseig on Bandcamp in CD or digital download, at Keri Skye’s shop in the Market Square in Broadford, the Nice Cafe at Kyleakin Connections and on all streaming sites.
